The decision inade by the Cam Dairy Produce Co., Ltd., at a meeting itt Rangifoa this evening tcr Sell its undertaking as a going concern to the Tai Tapu and Central Go-Operative cottipanies, completes the OUtline of the dairy fationalisatiqn scheme fof NorthCanterbury. Already the prdpfietors of the three otbef proprietary conipanies, ihe Kiwi Co., Ltd., Mid-Canterbury Dalry 'Co., Ltd., and the Sefton Dairy Co., Ltd., have decided to sell their factories, and ffom August butter will be manufactured in North Canterbury by the Central Tai Tapu oompanies. The .butter manufacturmg operations cJ the four proprietary eompanies will cease as from that date, but the cheese manufacture earried on by the Cam Company will be continued for as long as the suppliers of cheese milk desire to support it. The . assumption of all manufacture by the two co-operative eompanies, which will Work elosely together, was arranged as a result of a number ot cottferences called by the Executive Commission of Agriculture.
