MR. PERCY GEORGE AYRES

The death oceurred in the Napier Hospital yesterday morning of Mr. Percy George Ayres, aged 49 years, kusband of Mrs Annie Elizabeth Ayres, of 159 Marino Parade, Napier. The late Mr. Ayres was born in England, and came out to New Zealand about 1910, serving in the Post and Telegraph Department until the Great War. He went away with the Main Body in 1914 and saw service in Egypt and Franee. Sinco his return he had been suff-ering from war injuries. Besides his widow he leaves a young family of oue son and three daughters, to whom the sympathy of a wide circle of friends will be extended. The funeral will leave his late residence, Marine Parade, at 2 o'clock On Wednesday afternoon for the Parke Island cemetery.
