WANGANUI, Last Night. Giving false statements of his earn ings for the purpose of obtaining un employment relief, James Edwaru Hayes was finetl £10 with costs, thc i amount obtained being £7 15/-. Staule^ ' Mosen received £56 15/- and was flneci j £25. George Edwin Reid received £5 17/- and was fined £6, and Johu Sheahan, who received £12 1/8 was fined £20.
