Bread and Scones

Wholemeal makee very good bread if . you use one-.third wholemeal and two-thirds white flour. When mixing, add one tablespoonful of treacle to the other liquids and rnix a little more xlxoisi than white bread. This amouut of treacle js for about six 21b. loaves. Scones, too, are good made with half wholemeal and half flour, with one teaspoonful of honey or treacle added when mixing; like bread they requiro to be mixed a little wetter than white scones.
