The Napier Chamber of Commerce invites applications up to July 31 for the position of seeretary. The annual general meeting of the Hastings and District Progress League will be held at the Council Chambers on Tuesday, July 20, at 8 p.m. A meeting of the Hawke's Bay Carpenters' and Joiners' Union will be held in the Friendly Society Hall, Warren street, Hastings, on July 13 at 8 p.m. The Hastings Orchestral Society wiU hold its first concert for the 1937 season in the Municipal Theatre on Monday, July 19. Tenders addressed to the seeretary of the Te Aute Trust Board, P.Q. Box 227, Napier, are invited and will be reeeived up to 3 p.m. on Monday, July 19, for the supply of approximately 110 cubic yards of pit metal to Te Aute College. Members and supporters ii the New Zealand National Party ara invited to meet Mr T. G.
