MRS. GEORGE LOMAS

Mrs Ceorge Louias, a well-known resident of Hastings, passed away on Saturday at tbe age of 83 years. The Jate Mrs Lomas was born in England. She carne to New Zealand 57 years ago, arriving at Wellington., She later moved to Hastings, and had lived here for 30 years. Mrs Lomas had always displayed a kindly disposltion and h.ad spent much of her life doing kind decds to help others about her. She leayes, besides her husband, four daughters and four sons — Messrs A. C. Lomas, W. A. Lomas, H. G. Lomas and R. Lomas, a]l of Hastings, and Mesdames T. A. McDowell (Hastings), J.
