VON RICHTOFEN'S CLOCK

Settler's Claim Disputed
HOBART, June 19. The report that Mr. L. H. Wincey, of Griffiths, New South Wales, had handed to Dr. Becker, of South Australia, a clock taken from the aeroplane of Baron von Richthofen, the, famous German war ace, to be sent back to Germany, is disputed by Mr. A. H. Young, of Ulverstone, who has in his possession a cloek which he claims is the one from von Kiehthofen's machine. On the back of the leather case coutaining the clock are the words "Baron von Richthofen, '» written in ink.. Below the face denoting the trade natne of the maker and the issue number, is engraved "K.U.K. Luftfahrtruppen No. 6406." Mr. Young said that he was- a transport sergeant in the 40th Battalion, and was on the scene when von Richthofen was shot down.
