H.B. Players in Trials at Palmerston

PALMERSTON N., Last Night. The Tasman Cup women' s golf trials in which players from Hawke's Bay, Nelson, Wellington, Manawatu, and Wairarapa took part, concluded today. Results: — Miss Betts (Nelson) beat Mrs Cook. 3 and 1. Miss Helean (Hastings) beat Miss Hornabrook (Masterton), 5 and 4. Mrs Field (Manawatu) beat Miss Duncan (Belmont), 1 up. Miss Seifert (Manawatu) halved with Miss Ormond (Napier). Miss Wilson (Manawatu) beat Mrs Foreman, (Miramar), 2 and 1. Mrs Ellison (Napier) beat MrS Slater (Hutt), 7 and b.
