^ Ormondville's Older Residents

ORMONDVILLE, This Day. Several of Ormondville *s older inhabitants are celebrating their birthdays. Mr T. P. Thomasen, a very highly .respected resident, received the congratulations of his frieuds and relatives last Sunday. On July 8 Mrs Mary Bovaird celebrated her 88th birthday, receiving many gifts, letters, etc., from friends, family, and neighbours. Notwithstanding her great age, Mrs Bovaird usually enjoys very good health, and sets a great exainple to the younger' generation by walking to church most Sunday mornings, and by the activity of her Jife and keen interest in the wolfare of her friends and neighbours. On June 9 another of the very earlv settlcrs, Mrs Ellen Benbow, received the affectiouate greetings of her large family and many old friends. Mrs Benbow, although leading a quiet lifo, has a wonderful memory for what took place iu ihe early days of Ormondville, aud is often appeal to for iut'onnalion ueeded as to old history. Ormondville people are very proud of these old residents, and hope they rnav iong bo spared t0 live among them.
