A REMARKABLE DOG
A distinguished member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police is a huge dog called "Dale." He is the pride of tho police, for it has accomplished Temarkable work in traeking down malefactors. Its feats include the hunting down of murderers of two policemen, and tracing a lost child after a search party failed to fin.d her. When stolen goods were found in a car on the roadside, "Dale" followed traeks leading from the car and caught the thief. There was nothing in his possession, however, to prove his guilt. "Dale" was therefore sent back on the man's trail again, and this time he returned with various arflicles that had been etolen. The dog is a fortunate animal in that it not only has an exeeptionally keen canine brain, but also has good looks as well, and has taken First Prize at dog showa. In showing such estimablo qualities, the dog is being true to the great traditions of the Royal Canadian Mounted Poljce.
