Going back still earlier, he has the advantage of having had some experience in business life that may well prove of considerable value in the coriduct df the affairs df iristitutions in which organisation and systeiri play sb great a part. , Indeed, in ^ every Way the ptdplfe df Hastings rind the Hospital Board have to be cofigratulated dri the seledtiori the Borough Council has made and on his finding himself able to accept nomination to a position which in his liands will not we may be sure be fegarded as aiiythirig like a niere coriipliinentary sinecure.
