Eliminating the necessity of repainting the centre traffic line on highways,a white concrete strip is now being built into tho latest road pavements as a permanent marker. Since this line will not fade or be erased by the tyres of passing cars, the new construction is regard ed as a safety factor. The traffic lanes on either side of the marker strip are of darker concrete.
