BRITAIN TO LOSE SUPPLIES OF IRON ORE
(Eeceived 9, 11 a.m.) LONDdN, July 8. The Finaneial News says that iron and steel interests aa-e worried at General Franco's diversion of Spanif iron ore supplies to Germany, to whom the greater part of Morocean minerala have gone in exchange for war material. The German bombardment of Almeria was significant as it was the centre of the iron ore district. There is reason to fear that Basque supplies which Britain needs and heips to finance will also be diverted to Germany.
