TARADALE APPROVES
Kennedy Road Extension ALL0CATI0N REAS0NABLE ' The Taradale Town B6ard last night approved of an expenditure of £75 towards the cost of the proposed extension of Kennedy road to Greenmeadows. % The chairiuan,. Mr J. Williaxnson, said that the board had for a number of years takou a keen interest in this proposal. It was recogniaed that when the work was uudertaken the board would have to make a contrdbution. "I feel that the money will be well spent," said Mr Williamson. "It would be a crying shame if the present offer were not taken advantage of, as this is an opportunity that we might never liave again. The allocation of £75 to this board is a reasonable one, and if that amount should have to be exceeded it will not be by very much."
