BOROUGH SUBSIDIES
land Grant Reduced; £25 for Pipe Band WIDER FIELD OF ASSISTANCE Details of the subsidies to bo granted to various local organisations and institutions for the coming year were announced by the Mayor, Mr. G. A. Maddison, when making his annual statement regarding borough rating. The total amount is slightly less than last year and in addition the amount has been distributed over p. somewhat wider field. The subsidies and grants approved to date are as follow: —
