The King has approved of the following appointrnents in the Diplomatic Service: Sir Walford Selby, his Majesty's Minister at Vienna, to be Anabassador at Lisbon ; Mr Charles Palairet, British Minister at Stockholm, to be Minister at Vienna; Sir F ''iiund Monson, British Minister at Riga, to succeed Mr Palairet at Stockholm. — British Official Wireless.
