FENCING DISPUTE
Case Before Court The first feneing dispute heard in Hastings for some time came before Mr. J. Miller, S.M., in the Hastings Magistrate's Court yesterday afternoon. The parties were T. C. Hamilton (Mr. H. Holderness) plaintiff, and W. Currie (Mr. W. E. Bate) defendant. The parties to the dispute left the Court to inspect fencing-posts which the deefndant had purchased, and on returning to the Court half an hour later they announced that agreement had been reached on the question of the fence, and asked that the action be adjourned sine die. An adjournment was granted.
