Settlers at Pakowhai have drawn attention to the possible risk of a spillover occurring during a higfi flood in •the Tutaekuri river from behind the Waiohiki cheese factory. Mr W. G. Jarvis brought this matter before the Hawke 's Bay Rivers Boaf d yesterday. The engineer^ Mr G. Rochfort,. was instructed to report on this matter to the board at its next meeting. There were present at the meeting Messrs C. Lassen (chairman), R. E. Talbot, W. H. Campbell, J. H. Sheath, W. G. Jarvis and J. Macdonald! Leave of absence was granted to Mr L. E. Harri* "
