Making his first appearanee in New , Zealand thfs season, Easrl McCready (I6st. 131b.) gained the only fall of the bout in the final round of a eontest against Matros Kirilenko (16st.), and brought to a close oue of the fastest, cleanest and most scientific displays of professional wrestling ever seen here. Daspite the fact that it ia over six weeks since McCready was in aiction, he looked in .perfect condition, and gave the impression that he was a good deal faster than when last heqre. AlIhongh lighter and not so strong, Kirilenko gave the Canadian a great battle and until tlie sixth round it was anybody's contest. McCready took a fall in the eighth roxtnd with a body pxtjss following a flying body scissors.
