Described as the greatest .trotter since the champion Peter Manning is . the five-year-old Greyhound, who won th© Hambleton Stakes in 1935 and "who has established a record of 1.571, compared with Peter Manning' s long-stand-mg record of 1.561. He was confidently expected to create new figures this year. Greyhound' s opponent will be the in-ternationally-known Muscletone, . wh0 was bred and developed in America, where he took a record of 2.2 before being bought by Signor Scuderia: Maiani. In Europe, Musceltone has beaten all tlie best liorscs on the Continent. Muscletone will go to America and a return match for £2000 will be decided m Italy. Greyhound is owned fiv Mr E. J. Baker.
