Meeting of Committee

At a recent meeting ot the committee of the Napier Park Racing Club, Mr Cecil Louisspn presided over Messrs McNiven, Chesney, Bowman, Stead, Smith, Cox, Uuddenklau, Sandtmann and Nelson, A letter was read from the New Zealand Racing Conference with reference to the stipendiary stowards' satisfactory report on the club's recent meeting, with the exception of the portion of the course crossed by horses during fcraining operations. The interim balance Bheet of the Winter meeting was read, and, in view of the increase in stakes, was considered satisfactory. A vote of thanks was accorded to Miss S. Williams and Mr O. E. Twist for the loan of.hacks for officials at race meetings. Accounts totalling £290 were passed for payment
