SHEEP-DOG TRIALS
Result at Havelock The sheep dog trials at Havelock on Satnrday were held in dull weather, which did not appear to have any effect on the dogs or their owners. Mr ' J. Donnelly acted as judge and Mr R. A. .Nimon as timekeeper. Mr A. Small supplied the sheep and Mr P. Priest presented a sheep for the guassing competition. Refreshments were dispensed by the Women's Divisiou of the Farmers' Union, headed by Mesdames Joll, Honeybun and Goldfiach. 9'hc results were: — OPEN CLASS W, Mackenzie's Fleet, 55 poits .... 1 S Felcher's Crib, 54 points 2 W. Cook's Help, 52^ points 3 MAIDEN CLASS S. Belcher's Crib, 54 points 1 F. Rodgett's Tam, 47£ points .... 2 D. Wilson's Fay, 46 J points 3 Special prize for member of union scoring most. points: W. Mackenzie.
