If Russia and Germany decided to take even moderate weights of greasy combing wool, the markefc should be lifted well above th© Bradford pricets for tops. It is anticipated that France Is competition may be keener than usual. As anticipated, butter values drifted lower and there is a definite lack of inquiry. Tooley Street merchants do not expect any appreciable reeqvery in prices for the time being and business should be quiet and unintereeting. Apples were readily cleared during the past week at improved prices.
