The Thorpe HaU, at present under Basque charfcer, carrying gqld and SC"1 curitiea, besides general cargo for the south of Spain, was arrested atFlushing whare the poiice are prqtecting the pargo. At the request of a group pf Spanieh banks, thq Prosecutor, M. Middleburg, backed by a Dutch warship, seized the Thorpe Hall, which is eommanded by a British captain but has a Spanish crew. He conficated 12 revolvers and a quantity of cartridges from the crew, The Thorpe Hall carries 130 cases of gold shares, bonds and jewellery estimated as worth £150,000 allqgedly taken from the Bilbao banks before General Fmnco captured the town. The Court will decide the diaposition ef the cases
