In a keenly-contested game played at Central Park, Waipukurau, yesterday afternoon, a team from the Waipawa High School scored a narrow win over the Waipukurau High School by 11 points to 9. The Waipukurau primary school were successful in defeating teams from Takapau by big margins. Waipukurau A beat Takapau A by 40 points to nil, and Waipukurau B defeated Takapau B by 25 points to nil. The commission commenced on Monday. Demonstration at Dannevirke. The Dnited District Fire Brigades' Association has allotted the Dannevirke brigade the annual demonstration for Easter, 1938. It will be held on thc Dannevirke domain.
