Tjvo German flyers reeently estabiishod a new recerd for motorless flight. They took off in a glxder from the Hofnberg in Swabia, and landed at Bingen, on the Rhine, having covered 125 miles. The previous long-distance record for a glider carx-ying passenger and pilot was 93 miles. In connection with the sxibject of gliders, Pr Walter Georgee, heacl of the German Reseatch institute df Gliding, recontly announced that he has perfected a glider whichi cau tgke off from Aud alfghfe ott water.
