Waikaremoana. Speaking at tlie Wairoa Borougli nhnmbcrs on Wednesday night, Mr L. J. pchmitt indicated that considerable imnrovements are to be instituted at Waikaremoana in the near future, to include an extension of the present hostel. The road, he said, was still in the making, and when completed it was his opinion that Waikaremoana and the magnificent sconery there and in the Urewera country would provfl a great draw to the tourist fraternity.
