ASSISTANCE NEEDED FOR THE TRIPLET FUND

The card party arranged by ihe members of the women 's organisations in Hastings, the Women 's Community Club, the Towns women 's Guild, the Plunket Society and the Women 's Divi'sion of the Fafmers' TJnion, which was held in the Hastings Assembly Hall lesterday afternoon to assist the funds for the Hastings triplets, was -not so successful as had been hoped owing mainly to the very unpleasant weather. Many people, however, . who were unable to attend gave donations to the fund, and others played bridge in their own homes and also paid their subscriptions. It is hoped that those who promised to attend the party and were prevented from doing so will still give their contribution and any otliers who are willing to help along the fund may send their donations to the Towu Clerk and they will be very gladly received.
