Trotting Clubs "Not Responsible

CHRISTCHURCH, Lasfc Night. Holding that a motor-car left in tiro parking enclosure of the Metropolitan Trotting Club during a race meeting could not be regarded as in tho custody of the club, Mr. F. F. Reid, S.M., gave his reserved decision in favouT of the club yesterday in the case in which A. 8. Wanty claimed from it the surn of £S 8s 6d as damages for the loss of the gpare wheel of his car. It was alleged to have been stolen from the car through the negligenee or default oi" servants of tho club.
