AUCKLAND, J,ast Night. Loss' estimated at about £1000 wus suffered by Dr. K. I. Woodward wheu a fire at three o 'clock this morning destroyed his house in Tuakau. Tho contents also were destroyed. Dr. Woodward was away. at the time. Among the possessions lost were pjedical books valued at abo... £200 jijjiI instruments, including oue which cost more than £70.
