Big Rise in Revenue - The Exchequer returns ehow that the total ordinary revenue for the current financial year to date amounts to £133,347,323, compared with £121,736,656 last year. All items of direct taxation show increased yields and the customs and excise duties collected totalled £79,539,000 agaiust £73,519,000 at the corresponding date last year. The total ordinary expenditure to the end of last week, was £199,117,221, compared with £190,703,929 at the corresponding date last year.— Official Wireless.
