Facilities to Observek Discontinued (Received 1, 1.3(\p.m.) LONDOJ^j June 30. In the House of Cjmimons, Mr. Anthony Eden, Seeretarj/ of State for Foreign Affairs, replying to Commander Fleteher, said that Portujgal had deeided to discontinue for th§ timo being facilities to observers,on;fhe HispanoPortuguese frontier, bqt pcnding a deeision in Tegard to naval vpatrol, Portugal would eontinue to obsarve her engagements ln respeet to thek export oi arnis to Spain. I Mr. Eden said he had xeplijed to Portugal, hopiug that if the NontJ ntervention Committee agrees to/ the rG. establishmeut of maritime cpntrol she will allow observers to projmptly resume their duties. Meanwhjile, observers are remaining at tme frontier posts. /
