His name is Joseph Brown, ana he is from the south of France. * He told the interviewer that he' had never enjoyed himself so much 'and had never previously met people] so kindly and thoughtful. He adqed: "You have a wonderfui country." T "But," inqurred the intervie%er, "what cities in this country have jy0u seen, enabling you to form . an fcp£. nion?"-. ' i "Oh, Auckland," Mr Brown replfted. ' His fellow passengers thought |fi Brown regarded Australia as a Naay Zealand colony. He left the whalrf sniffing with obvious appreciation bracing New Zealand air. \
