EARLY LAMBS APPEAR

Most Are Well Developed Early lambs have appeared in severa] parts of the district, a few having been born over three weeks ago. It is yet soon for the main crop of early lambs, although a few farmers have aimed at some very early arrivals. Most of the lambs born to date api pear to be quite-. well developed and sturdy ; tlie ewes, having been kept , generally in small numbers, have been done quite well. A large percentage of the ewes for. the main crop of lambs have had a hard time owing to the dry season and in eonsequence have been kept on dry feed. From tke general appearance of flocks a satisfactory percentage is anticipated. The lambs born to date, if they winter well, should be on the market extremely early in the season.
