Appeal Court Hearing Continues

WELLINGTON, Last Night. The clerical union dispute was contin md to-dav in the Court of Appeal. Mr. I. B, Steventon, for defendant union, submitted that the decision oi ihe registrar of industrial unions to regisxer defendant union and his issue of a certificate of registration could not be assailed in any proceedings which . were directed to question the status of an industrial union registered by him with the capacity, rights and obligations attaching to such a corporate body. Determination by the registrar that defendant union Js application was made in respect of an industry was arrived at in the course of ap inquiry upon which it was p'roper for him to embark. If, after embarking, he misdirected himself on a point of law or fact, that decision could not be reviewed by certioxari or other proceedings. The solicitor-general also submitted argument defending the Tegistrar's action. The ease will continue to-morrow. '
