4 'hopalong cassidy rides again." Paramount 's 1 ' Borderlands ' ' the latest of the popular ' ' Hopalong Cassidy'' series, the ninth from the pen of Clarence E. Mulford, front-ranking writer of Western action stories to reach the screen, comes to the State Theatre to-night with William Boyd again cast as the hard-fighting, hai'driding hero. The latest "Hopalong Cassidy" adventure deals with the efforts of the Texas Rangers and the Mexican secret police to apprehend a desperado whose depredations on both sides of the Rio Grande have made life dangerous :n the sparsely eettled country. 4 ' Hoppy is sent.into the bandit's territory as a seeret agent for the Rangers. In this secret misJtion, Cassidy not only sueceeds in deceiving the outlaw and trapping him, but to his own great sorrow, he turns his two beet friends against Eim. Also screening is "Hideaway Girl,' ■with Martha Raye, tbe female Joe E. Brown.
