Tliose who were fortunate enough to hear, and other that wished they had heard him, will be pleased to learn that the society has again engaged the hign-ly-talented boy violinist, Allen. Loveday. He haa made wonderful strides dnmng the past twelve months, and although now only nine years of age, he plays a full-sized violin. Master teachers are astonishcd when they hear. him play such pieces of music as. "Caprice Ho. 6," Paganini, the most difficnit piece ever written for the •violin. This and other high-class pieces will be given by him at this coneert. This little lad plays without a note of music in front of him. The American violinist, Mr. Pistorious, now touring the Dominion^ was astounded when he heard Loveday play "Paganini," and said that no other

lad of his age in the world could play "Caprice No. 6." > The- society is indeed fortunate in also being favoured by Miss M. Sawyer, the leading soprano of Wellington, consenting to sing at the concert.
