Dynamite Used to Cut Ofi Water Supply OUTRAGE IN AMERICA (Eeceived §0, 8.45 a.m.) NEW YOEK, June 29. A message from Johnstown states that two mysterious explosions cut off the main water-supply to the Bethlfhem steel plant and forced the suspension of operations in the middle of a "back-to-work" movement which the company claimed had restored operations to nornial. lnvestigators said that dynamite had apparently been placed under the stone water-tunnels in the mountains a few miles from the city. The blast shattered windows in homes within a quarter-of-a-mile . radius, There was no-one injured. Strike leaders denied responsibility for the explosion and said they deplored the incident. Two hundred soldiers have been assigned to guard the highway® and search all motor vehicles. A military investigation has been ordered at the plant which is expected to shut down for a fortnight.
