"A GRAVE MISTAKE"
N.Z. Embargo on English Stock Exports (lleceived 30, 1.0 p.m.) LONDON, June 29. Kegret ,that the New Zealand embargo on stock from Britain had not been lifted was expressed by Mr G. C. B. Dermer, of Feilding, leader of tbe New Zealand and Soutli- African farmers party which is touring Europe, speaking at a luncheon tendered the party by Thomas Cook and Sons. "I think it is a great mistake that New Zealand is not opening its doors to cattle from England. Many people in New Zealand are adopting the wrong attitude. The party liopes to inspect the London quarantine station here and gatiier vital information concerning the question of removing the ban." „ The High Cominissioner, Mr W J. Jordan and oftjcials of the company referred to the value of such tourg and hoped that they would be fdllowed by others.
