Minister Pleased With Interest Shown

WELLINGTON, Lasfc Night. Discussing his proposals for the establishment of a National Sports Council, the Hon. W. E. Parry said that he received from Southern sports bodies yesterday morning some valuable reports and well-thought-out suggestions whieh he felt would aid a great deal in bringing into pructical effect the scheme proposed. He was greatly pleased with the amount of consideration that Northern and Southern sports bodies had (bestbwed on the formation of the organisation. The recommendations and suggestions received, and those to be received at the end of the present month w°uld be collated and then arrangments would be made for a second conference in Wellington
