CHBISTCHUECH, This Day. ' f Gunner, ' ' Christchurch, winner of £2000 in the art union, still shelters under a nom-de-plyme, aud po elaiai was put in to-day for the prize money. The winning ticket, No. 139245, was bought two days before the art union closed, Second prize went to Mrs. C. Peoples, of the Bellvue Private Hotol, who nearly saw £50Q slig thrqugh hpr fiugers when ehfi could not finj the tic*ket. She had bpught five and the onljr one worth anything was the only ooe missing. This morning, howcver, the missing ticket turned up.
