Harvey, Fulton and Hill report having held their weekly market sale in the mart, Russell street, Hastings, on Saturday last, when there was a large attendance of the public. The entry of poultry, as is usual at this time of the year, was.a medium one and the demand was exceptionally keen. Prices may be quoted: — Poultry. — B.O. pullets on lay 7/- to 7/6, later 4/- to 4/6,- W.L. pullets On lay 6/- to 7/-, later 3/6 to 3/9, B.O. coekorels 3/9 to 4/9, W.L. coekcrels 3/9 to 4/-. B.O. hcns 3/3 to 4/-, W.L. bene 2/5 to 3/2. Ducks 4/6 to 8/10 pair. Sundries. — Drilling taps £2, set stocks and dies £1 17/6, Beaver dies £2 10/-, breast drill 17/6, Stillson tongs .£1 7/6a hammer 5/6, dolley 2/-, 2 doors at 10/-, lawnmowers 10/-, £1 15/-, bicycle lanip 4/-, gun £3, staples 5/-, mawl 5/-, bicycles £1, £5 5/-, copper 19/-, 2 doors at 19/-, table 15/-, cart saddle £1 5/-, gent.'s biycle £2, table 16/-, chesterfield £7, 1 Dov-er stove £4 12/6, 1 Champion etove £8 15/-, pushehair £1 10/-, eow covers 6/6 apiece, blinds £1 7/-, Singer machine £10, seagrass chairs £1; whilst a large entry of fruit and vegetables sold at firm rates.
