(Received* 28, 11.0 a.m.) LONDON, June 27"If you can alford, Sunday gQlf, "you can spare the church a few shillings," writes the Rev. S. Ford in the Hampstead parish magazine. "It will help you to avoid golf gamhling if you say: 'I cau't spare two shillings to het qu this hole, hut must send it to the 6 parson.' "A friend told me, 1 can pray on a golf-course as well as in church.' I replied, 'Maybe^but you don't. In any case the prayers used ou a gollf course would, if used in church, crack the roof.' "
