Leaves Australia to Visit Ireiand

AUCKLAND, This Day. A notable passenger on the Monterey from Sydnpy this morning was Archbishop Sheehan, until recently Roman Catholie Coadjutor Archbishop of Sydney. Archbishop Sheehan had the right of succession to Archbishop but a few vveeks ago he announced his resignation, statdng that spiritual reasons were involved, , and added that it was hiis intention to spend the rest of his days in prayers and study in Rome, af tei visiting Ireiand. Archbishop Sheehan has long been considered one of the most seholarly churchmen in this part of the world. This9 morning his Grace declined to indicate his future plans other than that he was on his way to Ireiand where ho hoped to renew old friendships. He did not know if he was returning to Australia and said that his literary work alone would keep his hands quite full
