Seores of insurgent planes, 40 tanks, Moorish cavalry and infantry participated in a heavy insurgent concentration on the Jarama river sector during the week-end. Government forces counter-attacked and for six cniles along the Yalencia railway sector, the gronnd was littered with dead and wounded. The rebel commanders evidently seek to straighten. out their lines south and east of Madrid, and will then cut olf the capital from the Mediterranean coast by encirclement. There was also heavy flghting on the Guadarrama seetor. I
