RUGBY PRESENTATION
Well-Beserved Tribute SELECTOR FAREWELLED Before the senior Bugby match between Napier H.S.O.B. and Technical O.B. on McLean Park, Napier, on Saturday, the members of the Napier H.S.O.B. Football Club mf.de a presentation to onfi of their oldest members, Mr W. T. J. HefFernan, who has been junior Bugby eelector, for some time, and who has rCcently been transferred to Wellington, for which place he leaves at the end of this month, Mr HefFernan will be greatly missed in Bugby and tswimming circles, and his place in these and other sporting activities wull be hard to fill. Mr W. T. Foster, president of tlie club, in presenting Mr HefFernan with a cheque. made roference to HefFernan 's services to the club both as a player and as a club official, adding that his seleetion as the Hawke's Bay junior selector had been a result of his keen interest in the game. Appreciation of Mr HefFernan 's interest in tjie club was also expressed by Mr G. 1. BickerstaflF, the club secretary. Mr Heiternqn suitably replied.
