The meeting was addressed by Mrs Stond, tlld presidcnt of Ihe Wellington division of tho woinen's organisations 6f the phrty. She spoke Of tliO aetivities of women's political organisations dui'ing the past 25 years and of the prosent urgent necessity of tfomen taking an active iliterest in the paf ty fs aetivities. It wdg. decided to forin a women's ' branch of the party in the Hawke's Bay electorate, and a strong interim Committee Yras set up to furthef the organisation of the branch.
