ASHBURTON, This Day. The Ashburton County Racing Club winter meeting is being held to-day ii bright but cold weather, The track ii in good order. The attendance ii large. Results: — HINDS HANDICAP. — 1/1 COT TINGHAM 1, 2/4 Silver Sight 2, 6/1 The Graspers 3. Won by half a length third back four lengths. All started Time. 3.57 2-5, Lyndhurst Handicap Trot. — 1/3 SANTA FEE 1, 8/9 Chaise 2, 3/4 Attain 3. Scratched: Loyal Pat, Cora Derby, Jackaranda, Chieftainess. Won by a length and a-halr, third back three lengths. Times, 3.83, 3.33 2-5, 3.34 1-5.
