ENGLAND'S NEW OPENING BATSMAN

LONDON, June 24. Following his unfinished innings of 271 against Derby, the Yorkshire colt Hutton celebrated his 21st birthday with an equally fine 153 against Leicester in 260 minutes. This is his third successive century. Sutcliffe, his mentor, opines that Hutton will be England's opener for the next 20 years.
