WEELL1N GTON, Last Night. "Since the Labour Government was elected to office, the membership of the New Zealand Workers' tJnion has grown from 5000 to over 30,000, and t is anticipated next year will see a further increase to 50,000. This statement was a feature of the report placed before the annual conference of the union, which is being held at Wellington. There were 22 delegates present.
